Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us!
How amazing is that! We are still sinners but I know God has forgiven me of yesterdays, todays and tomorrows sins because our family has accepted that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and He died for us!
Not that we should be sinning but we should be walking in the Light! Pastor Todd talk about this his focus was on John 3: 13-21.
Matthew 26:39 He went a little father and fell on His face, and prayed saying O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will".
This last month has been very difficult for Astrid. Astrid didn't pass her exam, but this verse has given our family a new meaning. It has shown us we need to not trust our own understanding, but God's will. His will is done and whether we understand it or not..God is using this time to help us grow and trust in Him! It hurts but oh my..how exciting it is to see what He is doing in our lives!
In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.
John 1: 4 - 5 ( I thought this was perfect!) We talked about it in church today...what an awesome service! We are headed into a new year..REMEMBER lean on the Lord and not on our own understanding! The Lord will carry us through! We made it through this year! Our family knows we couldn't of done it without HIM! PRAISE THE LORD!
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever!
Hebrews: 13: 7
